Ways to Stay Hydrated
Water has so many health benefits. It aids the heart with pumping blood through the body, helps muscles to function better, improves energy levels, reduces swelling in feet, and can help prevent headaches.
Are you drinking enough water to stay hydrated? It’s recommended to drink water when you wake up in the morning and throughout the day.
If you’re experiencing symptoms such as dry mouth, unusual fatigue or sleepiness, light headedness, or extreme thirst, you may be dehydrated.
Try these tips to hydrate:
- Avoid or limit alcohol and caffeine and limit foods high in sodium
- Eat hydrating foods: cabbage, celery, spinach, lettuce, strawberries, watermelon, apples, grapes, oranges
- Drink water and teas throughout the day
- Add a little flavor to your water
If you have trouble drinking plain water, a little flavor goes a long way. Many of our Hand & Stone locations offer Pure Inventions water infusion drops, sweetened naturally with low-glycemic lohan fruit and stevia extracts. FREE of synthetic colors and flavors.
