The more I learned, the more I believed in the mission \u2013 to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of the world! I sold my first franchise 30 days later to two lovely women in Boise, ID. The more people I met and learned about the concept, the more interested my family and I were in investing in Hand &amp; Stone. When we started exploring this business opportunity, I remember thinking how helpful it would be if I could peak at another franchisee\u2019s timeline; so, to be transparent, I am sharing my family\u2019s timeline to opening a Hand &amp; Stone spa.<\/p>\n<h2>My Timeline to Opening a Hand &amp; Stone Franchise<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>September 2020: Hired as Franchise Development Director<\/li>\n<li>October 2020: Sold first franchise in Boise, ID<\/li>\n<li>April 2021: Started discussing with my family about investing in Hand &amp; Stone<\/li>\n<li>July 11<sup>th<\/sup>, 2021: Family signs franchise agreement for Chanhassen, Minnesota territory<\/li>\n<li>November 2021: Signed lease<\/li>\n<li>February 2022: Hired contractors<\/li>\n<li>June 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2022: Certificate of occupancy received<\/li>\n<li>June 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Facebook Marketing Week (Soft Opening)<\/li>\n<li>June 21<sup>st<\/sup>: Open for business to the public<\/li>\n<li>June 29<sup>th<\/sup>: Grand opening event (Chamber pictures)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What to Expect on Your Own Franchise Opening Journey<\/h2>\n<p>Each franchisee\u2019s opening process looks different and goes at its own speed. I\u2019ve seen a Hand &amp; Stone location\u00a0open as quickly as two months, while others are closer to the one-year mark.
