Rules, Terms & Conditions
All membership benefits are for active members in good standing during the term of their membership.
Membership Services – All memberships include your choice of a one hour massage or signature facial each month.
Additional Membership Massage and Facials Services – Members may purchase an unlimited number of additional services for their personal use at discounted rates.
Rollover Privileges – Members in good standing may rollover any unused services to the following month. See the Membership Cancellation section for additional details on redeeming unused service credits.
Retail Discounts – A 10% discount is given to all members on retail product purchases.
Gift Cards – Members may purchase an unlimited number of gift cards. Restrictions may apply during special member gift card promotions. There are redemption limits for non-members. See Guest Privileges section below. Gift Cards must be present for redemption.
Service Credit Transfers – Members can transfer up to three service credits within a 12-month period for a transfer fee. Transfers must be completed at the member’s home spa.
Guest Privileges – Members may bring a guest to receive services at the member rate. Guest privileges are limited to three visits within a twelve-month period at member pricing. This limit applies to any visit where the guest:
Receives member priced services as the guest of a member
Redeems a credit transfer from a member
Redeems a member priced gift card
Nationwide Acceptance – Membership privileges and service credits are accepted at all Hand & Stone locations in the United States.
Rewards Program – Members participate in our Rewards Program and can earn services and discounts. See Rewards Program section for further details.
Membership Freeze Option – A membership may be frozen for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months at participating locations.
Memberships can only be frozen two times in a 12 month period for a maximum of 3 months at a time.
A membership must be unfrozen a minimum of 30 days before it can be frozen again. A “freeze fee” may apply.
Members can redeem accumulated services during a freeze but cannot utilize any additional membership benefits (i.e. bringing guests, discounted gift card purchases, retail discounts).
A minimum of one EFT payment must have been made before a membership is eligible to be frozen.
Freezing a membership is completely at the discretion of each individual Spa based on individual circumstances.
Membership Cancellation - You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting the spa where the membership was purchased. Upon receipt of your cancellation request, your membership will be scheduled for termination.
One final membership payment may be charged on your next regularly scheduled billing date.
Unused service credits must be redeemed within ninety (90) days of the date your cancellation request is received if a final payment is charged, or within sixty (60) days if no final payment is charged at the discretion of the spa.
Should your membership be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances at the spa, such as a spa closure, no final payment will be collected and the 60 grace days will apply.
Any unused service credits remaining after the applicable redemption period will expire and have no further value.
California Exception: For memberships purchased in California, unused service credits remaining after the applicable redemption period will not expire but may be applied toward services at the spa's then-current non-member pricing, as required by California law.
Other Conditions
Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Hand & Stone must be notified about any changes in address, contact information and/or credit card information.
Guests must follow spa rules and regulations. Hand & Stone reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for any reason.
Hand & Stone reserves the right to modify/change spa rules, regulations, services and pricing with reasonable notice.
Twenty-four-hour advance notice is required on any appointment cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a fee equivalent to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service.
Hand & Stone is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
No person will be denied admission based upon race, religion or appearance.
Hand and Stone does not provide hair removal services involving male genital areas. Such services are not offered at any Hand & Stone location. .
Age requirements for receiving spa services are subject to applicable state and local laws. Where state or local law imposes stricter requirements than those set forth below, the applicable law shall control.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 SHALL BE STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE SPA.
The minimum age requirement for a minor to receive massage services is 14. Parents/Guardians are required to sign the consent for a minor on the intake form.
Any minor between the ages of 14 – 15 requires that the parent remain in the treatment room while services are being performed.
Any minor between the ages of 16 – 17 requires that the parent remain on the premises while services are being performed.
Additional parental attendance or supervision requirements may apply under state or local law.
No children under the age of 18 will be able to receive any service without the express written consent of their parent or guardian.
Clients must be at least 13 years of age to receive a Teen facial.
Clients must be at least 18 years of age, or older where required by applicable law, to receive CBD-related services or purchase products containing CBD.
Minor appointments may be scheduled with a service provider of any gender at the discretion of the parent or guardian. The parent or guardian will be required to execute applicable consent and acknowledgement forms.
Clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive Brazilian or bikini waxing services. Parental or guardian consent will not be accepted.
Hand & Stone reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any service where required to comply with applicable law, safety requirements or company policies.
